MapServer 5.6.0
MapServer 5.6! Among many bug fixes and new features, MapServer now supports cairo for graphics rendering. I haven't looked at the details yet, but this could solve the problem of the lack of PDF output. This means MapServer now requires the cairo Framework in addition to the others.
Make sure to look over the migration guide. There is one change that affects processing of queries in the MapScripts.
